I will tell you, but you can’t tell anyone or else…

Ready…

here it is…

The secret to getting great abs is that there is no secret.  I am serious. I know people want to sell you on a secret all the time but truth be told great abs come down to two things.

  • body fat and
  • exercise

What you need to do is train your core on a regular basis exercise, and eat right to have a low body fat percentage.

Do that and your abs will look great. You will have a body just like a fitness model your favorite Hollywood star.

How to lose that belly fat can be a little more difficult and there are techniques and tricks that both fitness models and bodybuilders use.  But I think you can get away without knowing all those tiny details…

the on thing you do need to know to lose fat fast is…

create a huge calorie deficit!

That is the most important key to fast weight loss.  Next to surgery there isn’t any other way to do it.

The larger the calorie deficit the quicker your results.

Fat loss IS a simple math equation no secret there.

The more calories you have going out, the more fat you have coming off. Sound simple doesn’t it.

What the challenging part for you is probably the workout.  You know Crossfit gets people hurt, running is not effective, so you need a plan.

If you are looking to burn fat and create that huge calorie deficit the workout you do is critical.  Not every workout will do that, especially not in a time efficient manner. Feel free to browse the site for free workouts that can help you burn fat quickly.

Like I mentioned great abs need to be worked.  So I though I would share with you a great core workout routine that you can do to make those abs stand out. You will have that fitness model look in no time.

As part of the 1000 Calorie Challenge Joel and Arnel have included some ab workouts. Below is a quick clip to one of their 6 pack core routines. It is a great ab and oblique workout routine without the conventional ab exercises.

Abs and Obliques Core Routine

This is a great routine to work the abs and obliques, but remember there is more to the core than that.  You have to work your back and legs too.  This clip gives you a great set of exercises to include in your routine but remember that it’s not complete. Make this routine a finisher to one of your workouts. On other days you will want to do some different things depending on your goals.
